President Bush announced he will lift the Executive order his father put in place banning offshore drilling. The oil futures market opened with continued rise in the price of oil, currently $146 heading for $147. Speaker Nancy Pelosi has not made a public statement as of yet, but after calling her office and hearing her position on drilling has not changed, I believe she will continue to obstruct any bills reaching the House floor concerning offshore drilling.

and voice your opinion. Oil will surpass $150 this week and may hit $160, if this happens it will hit $200 before the November election. If this happens the trucking industry could very well be destroyed.
